2-2-2 saddle in Boulton‘s siding.

This 2-2-2 saddle tank in Boulton‘s siding probably not long before it was scrapped, was built originally by Sharp Roberts in November 1842 as a 2-2-2 for the Manchester & Birmingham Railway which numbered it 19. It became 419A in the Northern Division duplicate list in 1860 and 1125 on the duplicate list of the unified system in April 1862. In March 1866 it was sold to I. W. Boulton, who rebuilt it as a 2-2-2 saddle tank and hired it in the same year to the Northampton & Banbury Junction Railway.
