Circulars from F W Webb in 1892 and 1894. The first one suggests suggests the use of washing and toilet facilities wasn't quite up to the standard expected of gentlmen - with the hint of using disinfectant. Justification of this missive being the prevention of illness rather that sensitive noses. The second describes the procedures to be followed when accidents occur. The requirement for investigation to prevent future re-occurance would make todays Health and Safety proud, but notice the simple ad straight forward language. Anyone caught ticking boxes would not be appreciated by Webb.
